Metabolic care,
organized around real life.
Metlio brings nutrition, formulas, labs, caregiver logging, clinician targets and clear reporting into one configurable place - without turning daily care into another complicated system.
Pilot users should use fictional/demo patient information only.

A daily tracking system that adapts to the condition.
Instead of building a separate app for each diagnosis, Metlio uses one configurable engine. Families choose what matters, clinicians can define targets, and the platform organizes the resulting information into a clearer daily picture.
Food, feeds & formula
Save repeat foods and feeds, build formula recipes, log amounts quickly and calculate nutrition from user-entered or source data.
Scan, review, save
Scan common UPC/EAN barcodes to prefill available product nutrition, then verify the label and add condition-specific values where needed.
Clinician-directed goals
Families can enter targets provided by their care team. Metlio does not prescribe or generate treatment targets.
Results & trends
Track structured test results over time and view repeat-test trends in one place.
Built for shared routines
Metlio is being designed around the reality that parents, relatives and caregivers may all participate in day-to-day care.
Provider-ready summaries
Create clearer date-range summaries that are easier to review than scattered notes, screenshots and memory.
Condition-specific without being condition-limited.
Templates are starting points. Trackers can be enabled, disabled, renamed and customized.
Metlio grew out of a simple problem: metabolic care creates a huge amount of daily information, but families still have to stitch that information together themselves.
What began as a purpose-built PKU tracking tool became the foundation for a broader question: could one thoughtfully designed platform reduce the friction of tracking, organizing and communicating metabolic care across many conditions?
We want professional feedback before we decide what Metlio becomes.
The current private pilot is intentionally early. We are asking metabolic-care professionals to evaluate whether the information is organized in a clinically useful way, whether reports reduce review friction, what should be standardized, and what should never be automated.
What to look at
- Tracker labels, units and condition templates
- Nutrition and formula workflows
- Barcode-assisted food lookup and source clarity
- Lab/test result trends
- Provider report structure and usefulness
- Where customization helps - and where it creates risk
Current guardrails
- No diagnosis or treatment recommendations
- No automatically generated clinical targets
- Condition-specific values are not guessed when unavailable
- Barcode nutrition must be reviewed against the product label
- Private pilot is for fictional/demo patient data only
